Woodworking Courses
We offer a range of project-based courses designed to help you learn basic woodworking skills and techniques, as well as more advanced courses for those who want to take their skills to the next level.
Individual
Introduction to Woodworking - Level 1
Level: Beginner
Age: 15 and above
Duration: 6 hours x 2-days (12 hours in total)
Price: RM650 (lunch included)
Free: 1 month membership (worth RM160) upon completion of the course
Learn basic woodworking in our 2-days course! You will learn basic joinery and finishing, operating essential woodworking power and hand tools, while making a beautiful lidded box which you can take it home. No prior woodworking experience is needed as you will be taught as you make.
Mark & Trim
With the given measurements, mark and trim the wood with the help of mitre saw and table saw. Cut various joinery and angles with using both machines and hand tools.
Assemble!
Assemble the pieces together by using a pneumatic nail gun with the help of wood glue and clamps. Pre-drill holes and make a groove for the hinges to set.
Sand & Polish
Sand the box by using a random orbital sander starting with a coarse-grit sand paper and moving up to a finer grit. Apply a protective coating and polish!

Dremel Woodcarving
Level: Beginner
Age: 15 and above
Duration: 6 hours
Price: RM400 (lunch included)
Create a beautiful Objet d’art out of Beech Wood, using a Dremel Engraving/Carving tool.
All tools and components provided. Class size is 3-5 pax per session and session timing is slightly flexible and will be determined once we have sufficient numbers of participants.
Mark & Trim
Transfer the stencil of image to the wood and trim the edges. Make a rough shape with a grinder and create a half-cavity using a forstner bit.
Dremel-dremel-Dremel
Carve the bodies with a Dremel with various wood carving bits. Touch, feel and pinch your eye to get a symmetrical and well proportioned sculpture. It's all about getting the right feeling!
Sand & Polish
Sand the bodies by hand starting with a coarse-grit sand paper and moving up to a finer grit. Apply a protective coating and polish until it shines! Here's to your palm-sized miniature elephant!

Kids Toy Crate & Stool
Level: Beginner
Age: 15 and above
Duration: 5 hours
Price: RM350 (lunch included)
Make a beautiful crate that is both a toy crate as well as a stool for your little one to sit on. You'll learn how to make repetitive cut on mitre saw, operate a pneumatic nail gun, sanding and finishing the crate/ stool with a layer of lacquer coating.
All tools and components are provided. 2-4 pax per session and session timing is slightly flexible and will be determined once we have sufficient numbers of participants.
Mark, Trim, Repeat
Mark and cut the pine wood using mitre saw and table saw. Setup a cutting block to act as a template for repeating cuts.
Sand & Assemble
Sand the wood with a random orbital sander using various grit of sand paper. Assemble the pieces together using glues and pneumatic nail gun.
Apply Finishing
Apply 2 coats of lacquer finishing and polish your crate. Now it's ready to serve as a toy crate or a stool.

Picture & Herbarium Frame
Level: Beginner
Age: 15 and above
Duration: 6 hours
Price: RM380 (lunch included)
Make a professional A3-sized picture frame with a two-layer glass sandwich and a wooden frame to highlight your favourite photo or herbarium (dried flowers and leaves) creative design.
The frame is of a solid hardwood and incorporates professional features such as mitred and splined corners.
Class size is 2-4 pax and we will try to accommodate participants’ schedules in arranging a class.
Measure & Cut
Get all the measurements right and start to cut the wood with a mitre saw and table saw.
Wood Wedge Joint
With the help of a angled jig, make a groove on each corner o the frame simultaneously. Add a wooden wedge to secure all the corners together.
Place Your Photo/ Herbarium
After applying a wood finish, place your photo or herbarium in between the plexiglass. Fasten the screws and your picture frame is ready to display!
